Biography

Amplified trombone and saturated electric guitar up front, driven by an explosive rhythm section, Cosmic Cluster is reminiscent of 1960s-era psychedelic free jazz with a heavy dose of experimental electronics. Started by seasoned American free jazz trombonist Christopher Robin Cox, now full-time entity on the European improvisation scene, the band also features three rising stars on the thriving Budapest underground music scene. The intensity of their live performances means they are capable of performing on the big stage, but are equally confident playing in small, intimate settings.

Cosmic Cluster is currently in talks with several record labels and will be recording their first full-length studio album in August of this year. Since their debut performance last year, the band consistently draws a crowd that is young and deeply engaged.

Christopher Robin Cox (Amplified Trombone)
